Hela: of Mice & Magic demo released for PC

Windup Games and Knights Peak Interactive have released a limited-time gameplay demo for Hela: of Mice & Magic. The demo is currently available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Xbox PC app, featuring full Steam Deck support.

Set in a landscape inspired by northern Sweden, the demo allows players to control a mouse tasked with restoring a witch’s protective magic by collecting Glimmer. The gameplay includes environmental puzzles, physics-based interactions, and a Shade System that allows solo players to summon magical duplicates to assist with challenges. The experience supports both solo play and local split-screen co-op.

The full game is scheduled for release on December 1, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass on its launch day. A limited physical ‘Harmony Edition’ is also planned for select consoles through Microids.
