Hela: of Mice & Magic reveals potion crafting system

Knights Peak and Windup Games have released a new “Deep Dive” detailing the potion crafting system for the upcoming game Hela: of Mice & Magic. Set for release on December 1, 2026, the game features a mechanic where players collect ingredients from forests, meadows, and wetlands to create potions and “Remedies” using a recipe book.

These remedies are used to assist forest creatures, improve player abilities, and unlock new ways to interact with the environment, such as solving puzzles or discovering new paths. Players control a small mouse assisting a witch in protecting their land, utilizing a magical backpack to explore more effectively. The game will support both solo and cooperative play.

Hela: of Mice & Magic will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2 in both digital and physical formats via a limited Harmony Edition. Digital versions will also be available for Xbox Series S and PC, with the latter including availability on Xbox Game Pass.
