Hela: Of Mice & Magic set for December 2026 release

Windup Games and Knights Peak have confirmed that the open-world adventure Hela: Of Mice & Magic will be released on December 1, 2026. The game is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

Inspired by Scandinavian folklore, the game follows a mouse acting as a familiar to a witch. Players must gather ingredients and concoct potions to restore harmony to the land. The title features a Shade System, a magical echo used to assist with puzzles and environmental interactions, and supports both local split-screen and online cooperative play.

A limited physical “Harmony Edition” will be available for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X through a partnership with Microids. This collector’s pack includes the base game, a digital soundtrack, a 48-page art book, a reversible poster, and exclusive stickers.
