Helena Bailly's Summer Concerts Cancelled in France Amid Heat Wave and Storms
Several of Helena Bailly's summer performances in France were called off due to extreme weather. The Solidays festival scheduled for 26‑28 June 2026 at the Hippodrome de Paris‑Longchamps was cancelled by a prefectural order citing health risks from the heat wave, causing the charity Solidarité Sida to lose about €3 million in revenue.
The World Festival Amber in the Puy‑de‑Dôme, set for 16‑18 July 2026, saw its opening day (16 July) cancelled after a storm alert and a similar prefectural decree. Bailly posted on Instagram expressing her disappointment and gratitude to volunteers, staff and fans, and noted that refunds would be arranged.
Despite the setbacks, Bailly confirmed she will still appear on 30 August at the Parc des Oiseaux in Villars‑les‑Dombes.
