Helldivers 2 receives new warbond and technical update

Arrowhead Game Studios has released a significant update for Helldivers 2, introducing the ‘Reach of Authority’ premium warbond and implementing major technical improvements. The new warbond focuses on stealth and long-range combat, featuring new equipment such as the R-40 Aligner bolt-action precision rifle, the LAS-44 Nova energy rifle, the P-44 Mist compact SMG, and the AMW-20 Apotheosis anti-material rifle. Players can also access new armor sets, including the SS-33 Mimetic light armor and SS-15 Focal Point medium armor, both designed to enhance camouflage and reduce aim sway.

In addition to new content, the update introduces Easy Anti-Cheat alongside enhanced security tools to improve game integrity. Technical fixes address various bugs and crashes, including issues related to ragdoll physics and SEAF shuttle interactions, while providing better DirectX 12 support. The patch also includes a comprehensive balance pass on several stratagems and weapons, specifically targeting the Sickle and items from the Killzone and Halo Legendary Warbonds.
