Arrowhead Game Studios has released several updates for Helldivers 2 to address technical stability and gameplay balance. An initial major version 7.1.0 patch and emergency hotfix addressed enemy behavior, kill statistics, and crashing issues related to fullscreen mode and superwide resolutions.
