Hellenic Cadastre completes digital mapping in Boeotia, Phocis, and Chalkidiki
The cadastral mapping process has been completed in the regional units of Boeotia, Phocis, and Chalkidiki, integrating these areas into the permanent digital operation of the Hellenic Cadastre. As of September 4, the system has officially transitioned to full functionality for these regions.
This expansion incorporates 878,196 properties and 1,001,810 rights into the digital database. The transition aims to modernize real estate management by replacing traditional bureaucracy with digital services. Most transactions, including the submission of notary acts, legal and judicial acts, searches, and the issuance of certificates, will now be conducted electronically.
Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Christos Dermentzipoulos stated that the completion of this process addresses long-standing pending issues, aiming to create a modern national digital infrastructure that enhances security, transparency, and efficiency for citizens and professionals alike.
