Hellenic Cadastre launches metavoles digital platform

The Hellenic Cadastre has launched 'metavoles', a new digital platform designed to automate and streamline the correction of property geometric data. The system allows for the electronic adjustment of property boundaries, total area, shape, and precise geographic location.

Users can access the platform using their Taxisnet credentials. The process can be initiated by property owners (individuals or legal entities) or authorized representatives, such as engineers who prepare the necessary geometric change diagrams. The platform covers the entire lifecycle of a request, from initial submission and document upload to the final decision and electronic integration into cadastre records.

To ensure legal protection, the system includes mechanisms to notify neighboring property owners if a requested change affects their rights. These parties have the opportunity to submit formal objections. The digital transition aims to reduce bureaucracy, eliminate the need for physical visits to cadastre offices, and provide real-time tracking of application progress.
