Hellenic Fire Service announces recruitment of 26 civilians

The Hellenic Fire Service has announced the recruitment of 26 civilians through ASEP. The positions include five Officer Special Duty Boat Pilots, five Officer Special Duty Marine Engineers, and 16 junior-level Special Duty Marine Engineers. These roles will serve within the Floating Means Service at port fire stations across Greece.

Applications open on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, and will remain available until Friday, September 11, 2026. Candidates must undergo medical examinations and psychotechnical testing.

Eligibility requirements include Greek citizenship, being under the age of 35 by December 31, 2026, and having completed mandatory military service for men. Applicants must possess good health and physical fitness, have no criminal record, and must not have visible tattoos or piercings on external parts of the body.
