RTL quiz show ‘Wer wird Millionär?’ features notable contestant errors and wins

The recent episode of the RTL quiz show ‘Wer wird Millionär?’ featured several notable contestant performances and errors. One contestant, Noah Petrik, faced a significant setback on a 2,000-euro question regarding the coach of the German football club 1. FC Union Berlin. Despite using a telephone joker, Petrik incorrectly identified the coach as Igor Spassikowski instead of the correct answer, Mauro Lustrinelli, resulting in a drop to 500 euros.

Other contestants also experienced varying degrees of success and failure. Carsten Muschalle, a media manager for Lok Leipzig, dropped to 500 euros after failing a 1,000-euro question about animal biology. Meanwhile, Helmut Maaßen, a DJ from the Aachen region, navigated the show using multiple jokers, including a 50:50 and telephone jokers, to progress through various winning tiers.

The episode included a range of topics from football and geography to biology and pop culture, with some participants managing to secure winnings of up to 32,000 euros before exiting the game.
