Henrik Havas discusses marriage struggles and media persona

Hungarian television personality Henrik Havas shared personal details regarding his long-term marriage during an appearance on the ATV program ‘Médiapiac’. Havas revealed that his marriage, which has lasted over five decades, nearly ended on two separate occasions during the 1980s. He credited his wife’s patience for their continued relationship, admitting, “I had very little to do with us staying together. I committed quite a few misdeeds.”

The interview was marked by tension between Havas and host Tamás Boros. A verbal altercation occurred when Boros questioned whether Havas’s provocative on-screen persona was a reflection of his true personality. Havas responded defensively, characterizing his public behavior as a form of irony and a “taken pose,” while asserting that he is primarily focused on himself.
