Personal disclosures by Henrik Havas

Hungarian journalist and television presenter Henrik Havas has shared various personal reflections regarding his family life and public persona in recent media appearances.

In an interview on the Neshama TV program ‘Én és a pénz’, Havas addressed his estrangement from his two adult children, Henrik and Nikoletta. He expressed regret over his past parenting, suggesting that while he provided significant support, he failed to instill necessary responsibilities. He remarked, ‘Let’s just say they received a lot from me, and that is where I messed up.’

Subsequently, during an appearance on the ATV program ‘Médiapiac’, Havas discussed his long-term marriage, noting it nearly ended twice during the 1980s. He credited his wife’s patience for their survival, stating, ‘I had very little to do with us staying together. I committed quite a few misdeeds.’ The interview also involved a verbal altercation with host Tamás Boros, who questioned if Havas’s provocative media persona reflects his true character. Havas defended his behavior as a ‘taken pose’ rooted in irony.
