Henry Cavill to star in ‘Highlander’ reboot directed by Chad Stahelski

Henry Cavill is set to star as Connor MacLeod in a new reboot of the fantasy classic ‘Highlander’. The production features Chad Stahelski, the director of the ‘John Wick’ franchise, who is expected to bring high-intensity choreography to the film’s signature sword fights.

The cast includes Russell Crowe in the role of Ramirez, originally played by Sean Connery, and Dave Bautista as The Kurgan. Other cast members include Karen Gillan as Heather, Djimon Hounsou as Sunda Kastagir, Siobhán Cullen as Brenda, and Drew McIntyre as Angus MacLeod. Jeremy Irons and Kevin McKidd have also joined the production in undisclosed roles.
