Balkan regions face utility disruptions and tourism growth

Multiple regions across the Balkans are experiencing service disruptions due to planned infrastructure maintenance.

In Montenegro, Podgorica has reported significant increases in tourism during the summer season, driven by improved air connectivity and expanded city beach offerings. However, residents in Podgorica, Tuzi, Zeta, Cetinje, and Danilovgrad face scheduled electricity outages for grid maintenance.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, planned power outages are affecting various neighborhoods in Tuzla and the Sarajevo Canton, including Ilidža, Centar, Trnovo, and Vogošća. Additionally, construction on the sewage network in Sarajevo's Humska Street has necessitated temporary changes to the Drvenija - Pofalići bus line to ensure transit continuity.

In Croatia, planned electricity outages are scheduled for parts of Split, Kaštela, and Dugopolje, as well as several locations in the Zagorje region, including Bedekovčina and Zlatar, due to network works and meter replacements.
