Heraklion police seize 58 g of cocaine in coordinated drug bust

Police in Heraklion, Greece, arrested a 40‑year‑old suspect during a coordinated operation on 25 July. The raid uncovered 58 grams of cocaine hidden in a glass jar with rice, €2,680 in cash, a precision scale and a mobile phone. The suspect’s vehicle, an I.H.E. passenger car, was also seized.

The investigation was led by the Heraklion Drug Enforcement Unit, which acted on intelligence from its criminal investigations department. Searches were conducted on the vehicle, the suspect’s home and a storage location used to conceal the drugs.
