Herceg Novi renews half-century of international city partnerships

The city of Herceg Novi is marking a 50-year milestone of cooperation with several partner cities. To commemorate the anniversary of an agreement originally signed on October 21, 1976, representatives from Banja Luka, Kranj, Bitola, and the Zemun municipality will participate in a ceremony involving the planting of a friendship tree and the signing of a new memorandum.

Local officials noted that while the original agreement was established under a different historical and social context, the new memorandum aims to foster modern collaboration. Key areas of focus for future joint initiatives include exploring opportunities for accessing European Union funds and strengthening ties through concrete shared projects.
