Hercegbosanska županija allocates funds for police and fire services

The Government of Hercegbosanska županija has approved significant new investments in police and fire infrastructure and equipment. During its 67th session, the government allocated funds for several key security and emergency services.

For the police sector, 270,000 KM (excluding VAT) has been designated for the second phase of the Glamoč Police Station construction. Additional funds include 180,000 KM for weaponry and equipment, 90,000 KM for uniforms, 50,000 KM for video surveillance of Ministry of Internal Affairs buildings, and funds for energy efficiency and office equipment.

Civil protection and firefighting services will also receive support. The government approved 190,000 KM for the procurement of new fire vehicles. Furthermore, 34,980 KM has been allocated for the operation and training of rescue services, including 15,000 KM for the Mountain Rescue Service and specific grants for several volunteer fire departments. The government also approved a new protection and rescue plan for natural and other disasters to coordinate emergency response and information exchange.
