Hero MotoCorp launches Vida VX2 Go FB electric scooter in India

Hero MotoCorp has introduced a new variant of its Vida electric scooter range, the Vida VX2 Go FB, priced at Rs 1.13 lakh (ex‑showroom) in India. The model features a fixed 3.1 kWh battery that offers an IDC‑certified range of up to 128 km and supports DC fast charging, reaching 80 % charge in about 65 minutes. Apart from the battery configuration, the scooter retains the same 6 kW peak‑power motor, chassis, and equipment as the existing VX2 Go, including LED lighting, a 4.3‑inch LCD instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, navigation support, OTA updates and regenerative braking.

The launch targets customers who prefer outright ownership of the battery rather than Hero's Battery‑as‑a‑Service (BaaS) subscription model. By offering a fixed‑battery option, Hero aims to broaden choice in the Indian two‑wheeler electric market and accelerate EV adoption.
