HeroQuest: Digital Edition announced for PC

Nomad Games and Balor Games have announced 'HeroQuest: Digital Edition', an officially licensed PC adaptation of the classic 1989 fantasy board game. Developed in collaboration with Hasbro and Avalon Hill, the game is slated for release on Steam in 2027.

The digital version aims to preserve the asymmetric gameplay of the original. Up to four players can participate in online co-op as the Barbarian, Dwarf, Elf, and Wizard, while a fifth player can take on the role of Zargon, the dungeon master who controls monsters and traps. Solo players also have the option to command the entire hero party while the game manages Zargon.

Technical specifications for the title have drawn attention, specifically the recommendation of 32 GiB of RAM for optimal performance.
