HG Capital acquires 70% stake in Entersoftone at €1 billion valuation

London-based private equity firm HG Capital is acquiring a 70% stake in Entersoftone (ES1), a leading Greek provider of business software and ERP solutions. The deal values the company at approximately €1 billion, marking a significant milestone for the Greek technology sector as it achieves “unicorn” status.

The remaining 30% of shares will be held by existing shareholders, including Olympia Group and Imker Capital, along with the company's management team. Olympia Group, led by Panos Germanos, is expected to retain the largest portion of the remaining stake. Entersoftone was formed in 2025 through the merger of Entersoft and SoftOne.

The investment aims to accelerate Entersoftone’s transition to cloud services and the integration of artificial intelligence into its product portfolio, including ERP, CRM, and payroll solutions. The company currently serves over 90,000 customers across Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania. This transaction represents HG Capital’s first investment in a Greek-based company.
