HG Capital acquisition of Entersoftone
Overview
London-based private equity firm HG Capital has reached an agreement to acquire a 70% stake in Entersoftone (ES1), a Greek provider of business software and ERP solutions. The transaction values the company at approximately €1 billion, granting it “unicorn” status.
Formed in 2025 through the merger of Entersoft and SoftOne, the company serves over 90,000 customers across Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania. The remaining 30% of shares will be held by the company’s management team and existing shareholders, including Imker Capital and Olympia Group. Panos Germanos, leader of Olympia Group, is expected to retain the largest portion of the remaining stake.
The investment is intended to facilitate Entersoftone’s expansion across Southeast Europe and accelerate its transition toward cloud services and the integration of artificial intelligence into its CRM, payroll, and ERP product portfolios.
