Hidalgo Governor Menchaca Inaugurates New State Infrastructure Facilities

Governor Julio Menchaca Salazar of the Mexican state of Hidalgo inaugurated three new facilities: the Directorate General of Road Conservation, the State Machinery Center for Development, and the General Warehouses of the Executive Power.

The projects cost more than 235 million pesos. The new offices occupy 2,400 m² and were built with 61.4 million pesos, while the warehouses, comprising five bays and a maneuvering yard, required over 70 million pesos. A purchase of 54 vehicles, funded with more than 104 million pesos, raised the state fleet to 204 machines, intended for deployment across the region, especially in areas affected by heavy rains.

Menchaca said the new spaces will reduce the state's office‑rental expenses, which exceed 100 million pesos annually, and generate an operating saving of about eight million pesos each year. After the inauguration, he visited the State Labor Conciliation Center to review its services.
