Hidalgo advances educational modernization and student recognition

Hidalgo is implementing several educational and institutional initiatives. The Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH) is modernizing its Garza Educational Model with a long-term vision toward 2041, focusing on social responsibility and continuous improvement.

In the technical sector, the Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de Hidalgo (CECYTEH) has launched a STEM laboratory in Tizayuca and expanded its academic offerings, including new technical programs in railway and airport operations. Notably, CECYTEH will be the first college in Mexico to contract services with NVIDIA for artificial intelligence hardware.

Students from Hidalgo achieved significant recognition at the national “Somos el Cambio 2026” awards in Nayarit, with six teams winning prizes for community-focused projects. Additionally, the SNTE Section 15 union in Hidalgo is focusing on generational renewal by integrating youth into its organizational structures.
