High temperatures forecast for Albania and Kosovo in early September

High temperatures are expected to persist across Albania and Kosovo during the first ten days of September.

In Albania, weather forecasts indicate stable and clear conditions. Temperatures are expected to reach between 41°C and 42°C during midday, with minimums around 25°C to 27°C in the mornings. Winds may reach speeds of 15 m/s along the southwestern coast.

In Kosovo, the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute (IHMK) predicts sunny and warm weather with maximum temperatures reaching 33°C. While conditions are generally favorable for agriculture, the heat may increase water demand and cause slight thermal stress in low-lying areas. The UV index is expected to be high to very high (6–8), prompting recommendations to avoid prolonged direct sun exposure.
