Hikvision DeepinView cameras earn EUCC cybersecurity certification
Hikvision's DeepinView network cameras have become the first video‑surveillance devices to receive the European Cybersecurity Scheme on Common Criteria (EUCC) certification. The EUCC scheme validates that the cameras meet strict requirements for authentication, access control, secure communications, security auditing and vulnerability management, addressing the growing convergence of IoT and physical security.
The certification, granted under the European Common Criteria framework, is intended to help integrators and end users deploy the cameras in critical infrastructures and comply with European security regulations. Neo, president of Hikvision Iberia, said the award "recognises the constant work of Hikvision on cybersecurity and strengthens the confidence of our European customers in our solutions." The achievement positions Hikvision as a pioneer in the sector and may simplify adoption of its products across European public and private installations.
