Hikvision DeepinView Cameras Secure First EUCC Cybersecurity Certification

Hikvision's DeepinView iDS-2CD7x series of network cameras has received the European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme (EUCC) certification, becoming the first CCTV product worldwide to achieve this status. The certification, granted by the independent body TrustCB B.V. and accredited by the Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure, was based on testing and evaluation performed by Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity Europe. The cameras meet the EUCC “Substantial” assurance level, equivalent to Evaluation Assurance Level 3 (EAL3) with added requirements for flaw remediation.

The EUCC certification aligns with emerging European regulations such as the Cyber Resilience Act and the NIS2 Directive, which mandate robust security throughout the lifecycle of digital products. Hikvision’s achievement highlights its security‑by‑design approach, covering identity authentication, access control, encrypted communication, event auditing and vulnerability management. The certification is positioned as a reference for high‑security sectors including public administration, critical infrastructure, energy and transport.
