Hillary Clinton criticizes Trump and Netanyahu governments

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that while she loves the United States and Israel, she ‘hates’ the governments and policies of President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During an appearance on MS NOW’s ‘Morning Joe,’ Clinton criticized both administrations for pursuing policies she believes are damaging to their respective nations.

Clinton specifically addressed a report from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which alleges that UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed warned Netanyahu approximately ten days before the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack regarding a planned major operation. Clinton characterized the failure to act on such a warning as a ‘failure of leadership’ and a ‘failure of protecting the people of Israel.’ She speculated that Netanyahu either dismissed the warning or potentially sought to use the event to enhance his political position.

Netanyahu has categorically denied the report, calling it a fabrication and stating that no such call occurred. He has instructed lawyers to pursue a defamation lawsuit against Haaretz. Regarding future diplomacy, Clinton suggested that if Netanyahu is reelected, the United States should adopt a tougher stance toward Israel.
