Hilton Honors reportedly planning new Black Diamond elite tier

Hilton Honors is reportedly planning to introduce a new elite status level called ‘Black Diamond’. According to internal training materials, this tier would occupy the highest position in the Hilton status hierarchy, sitting above existing or proposed levels such as The Honors Society, Diamond Reserve, Lifetime Diamond, and Diamond.

While Hilton has not officially announced the Black Diamond tier or provided details regarding qualification requirements and benefits, the move suggests a continued trend toward segmenting the top end of its loyalty program. CEO Chris Nassetta previously indicated the possibility of tiers existing beyond the Diamond Reserve level. If implemented, Diamond status would move to the fifth tier in the program's hierarchy.
