Hilton launches Pay with Points for Honors elite members

Hilton has introduced a new feature called ‘Pay with Points,’ allowing Hilton Honors elite members to redeem loyalty points for hotel charges directly through the Hilton Honors app during digital checkout. The service is available to Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Diamond Reserve members, enabling them to cover qualifying expenses—such as food, drinks, and spa services—without visiting the front desk.

The program is currently being rolled out at 150 participating hotels in the United States. Hilton plans to expand this to 800 properties by the end of 2026, with a broader rollout expected to cover more than 6,000 hotels across the United States and Canada in early 2027.

While the feature offers increased flexibility for travelers, Hilton has not yet disclosed the specific redemption value or the exchange rate for using points to offset dollar amounts. Eligible guests are expected to receive a pre-arrival email if their specific hotel participates in the program.
