Himachal Pradesh CM sanctions Rs 27 crore for Chopal projects
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has sanctioned Rs 27 crore for various development projects in the Chopal Assembly constituency of the Shimla district. The funding is intended to improve public infrastructure and accelerate ongoing work in the region.
The allocation includes Rs 12 crore for the Lakhawati bridge project and Rs 4 crore for the Nerwa bypass to enhance road connectivity. Additional funds include Rs 2 crore for a milk chilling plant at Nerwa to support local dairy infrastructure, Rs 2 crore for the Chhawala-Chopal water supply scheme, and Rs 7 crore combined for the construction of joint office buildings at Nerwa, Chopal, and Kupvi.
