Hip Hop Kemp festival returns to Plzeň region

The Hip Hop Kemp festival is returning on August 21 and 22 at the Cosmo Hadačky site near Kralovice in the Plzeň region. Held at a former military rocket base, the event marks the festival's return after a hiatus since 2019.

The festival, themed ‘Family Reunion,’ will feature five stages and dozens of performers. Notable artists include producer The Alchemist, who will perform on Friday, and Grammy winners Digable Planets and Freddie Gibbs on Saturday. Beyond music, the event includes a battle stage, DJ jam sessions, and a kilometer-long area for legal graffiti.

Due to the scale of the event and past issues involving drug-related offenses, police will increase their presence to manage public order and traffic. The festival has previously attracted up to 25,000 attendees from over 30 countries.
