Fairy Tail Hiro Mashima RE:FANTASIA 20th anniversary short‑term serialization

Manga creator Hiro Mashima announced the launch of a new short‑term serialization, FAIRY TAIL RE:FANTASIA, to celebrate the series' 20th anniversary. The story began in Weekly Shōnen Magazine’s issue 35 on July 29, and fans expressed excitement on X with comments such as “welcome back, I’m crying” and “so emotional”.

The new arc will be collected in two paperback editions slated for release on October 16, including a special edition that comes with a set of 16 postcards featuring illustrations by Mashima and guest artists such as Togashi Yoshihiro, George Morikawa and others. A nationwide signing tour has also been announced, with dates in Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka.
