Hisense launches A10 series with E Ink front and detachable color rear display
Hisense has launched the A10 series, featuring the A10 Pro and A10 Ultra models, which utilize a unique dual-display design. The primary front display is a 6.13-inch E Ink Carta 1300 screen with a resolution of 1648 x 824 pixels and 300 PPI. This E Ink panel is designed for eye comfort during reading and study, offering 256 grayscale levels and a front light with 36 adjustable color temperature levels.
A standout feature is the ability to attach a 4.96-inch color LCD screen to the back of the device using magnets and metal contacts. This secondary screen allows users to view color content, such as videos, comics, or charts, which are not suitable for the E Ink display. When not in use, the color screen can be removed, allowing the magnetic back to be used with compatible chargers.
The A10 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 chipset and includes a 4000mAh battery supporting 15W wireless and 18W wired charging. The device also features a 48-megapixel main rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Pricing for the series starts at 2,799 Yuan.
