Hisense launches JUOS, a new AI-driven operating system for smart homes
Hisense has officially released Hisense JUOS, described as the industry’s first family-oriented intelligent companion AIOS (Artificial Intelligence Operating System). Designed for multi-terminal home scenarios, the system is compatible with televisions, projectors, and various smart appliances.
The system is powered by the self-developed Xinghai Large Model and four native engines. It utilizes a system-level AI agent called ‘Super Xiaoju’ to transition from passive command response to proactive service. Key features include personalized AI desktops that recognize different family members to provide tailored content, seamless cross-device data flow, and deep integration with the Hisense AiHome ecosystem to enable whole-house smart scene coordination.
Technically, the Xinghai Large Model features intent recognition and tool execution accuracy exceeding 95%. The JUOS architecture has received the L3 intelligence certification for large-screen AI. Updates for compatible Hisense and Vidda models are scheduled to begin rolling out in September.
