Hisense smart home AI operating system development
Overview
Hisense has introduced new AI-driven operating systems designed to transform the role of televisions and smart appliances within the home ecosystem.
Initially, the company launched Hisense JUOS, an artificial intelligence operating system (AIOS) powered by the Xinghai Large Model. This system utilizes a system-level AI agent called ‘Super Xiaoju’ to provide proactive services and personalized content across multiple terminals, including projectors and smart appliances. The architecture has received L3 intelligence certification for large-screen AI.
Following this, at IFA 2026, Hisense expanded its vision by transitioning its television operating system from VIDAA OS to V AIOS. This evolution aims to position the television as a central hub for a connected home. Through the ConnectLife platform, the V AIOS system is designed to integrate with third-party devices, allowing the screen to monitor environmental context, display appliance status, and serve as a voice-command interface for managing household hardware.
