Hisense unveils connected home vision at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026, Hisense presented a vision for the future home centered around a highly connected television ecosystem. The company is transitioning its operating system from VIDAA OS to V AIOS, which expands the TV's role from a media device to a central hub for the connected home.

The new V AIOS system is designed to connect with various compatible appliances to detect human presence, understand environmental context, and communicate naturally with users. Beyond entertainment, the screen can serve as an information hub, displaying weather, news, or the status of appliances like air conditioners and security cameras. It can also act as a voice-command interface to manage other devices, such as checking the progress of an oven.

This ecosystem is built on the ConnectLife platform, which aims to integrate third-party devices and platforms to coordinate content, services, and household hardware autonomously.
