Hitachi and Mission Critical Group partner on data center solutions

Hitachi, Ltd. and North American-based Mission Critical Group, LLC (MCG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership focused on data center infrastructure. The collaboration aims to expand the lineup of Hitachi’s ‘HMAX Data Center’ solution suite through joint development and the cross-selling of energy solutions and products.

By combining Hitachi’s expertise in power transmission, cooling, and AI infrastructure with MCG’s leadership in modular power equipment and distribution, the companies intend to reduce data center setup times and enhance operational sophistication. The partnership will specifically target the integration of Hitachi’s digital and AI analysis technologies into MCG’s modular power equipment to enable immediate digital services, such as predictive maintenance and energy optimization.

Additionally, the companies plan to leverage Hitachi’s digital and automation solutions to improve the manufacturing and operational efficiency of MCG’s products, addressing the rapidly growing global demand for data center capacity.
