Hitachi Energy identifies Turkey as a key global supply chain hub

Hitachi Energy identifies Turkey as a critical hub within its European industrial structure and global supply chain. Alfredo Parres, Senior Vice President at Hitachi Energy, noted that the country's strong industrial capacity, skilled workforce, and established supplier ecosystem make it a strategic location for the company.

As part of its recent operations, the company has invested 70 million dollars in a Power Transformers Factory and Service Center located in Dilovası, Kocaeli. Parres indicated that the company is prepared to pursue further investments in Turkey, provided that market demand remains and the local investment environment stays supportive.

On a broader scale, Hitachi Energy has set a global investment target of approximately 9 billion dollars through 2027 as part of its five-year strategic plan. The company, which has operated in Turkey for more than 60 years, continues to focus on strengthening electrical grids to facilitate the integration of renewable energy.
