Hitachi Systems and HPE partner to accelerate containerized data center deployment

Hitachi Systems and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) have announced an enhanced collaboration to provide containerized data centers designed to meet the growing demand for AI infrastructure in Japan.

By combining Hitachi Systems’ expertise in containerized data center design, construction, and maintenance with HPE’s GPU server consulting and implementation support, the partnership aims to reduce deployment times from the typical 12 months to as little as six months. The collaboration also addresses high entry costs through HPE Financial Services, offering options such as residual value leases and payment deferral programs that can delay initial costs by up to 180 days.

The solution provides a one-stop service covering everything from server deployment and Large Language Model (LLM) construction to 24/7 automated monitoring. This model is intended to help companies rapidly establish AI environments while reducing the management burden and initial capital expenditure.
