HK dominates Icelandic youth table tennis championships

The Icelandic Table Tennis Federation held its youth team competition at Laugaland in Holt on October 10. The tournament featured various age groups, including a recent regulatory change that increased the maximum age for the oldest categories from 18 to 19.

HK emerged as the most successful club, winning both the boys' 13 and under category and the boys' 15 and under category. Additionally, HK secured silver medals in both of those divisions. In the boys' 19 and under category, BH was crowned champion.

A joint team from Dímon, Garpur, and Vísir won the girls' 13 and under category. In the girls' 19 and under category, KR secured the championship, marking the fourth consecutive year that Guðbjörg Vala Gunnarsdóttir and Helena Árnadóttir have been champions.
