Icelandic youth table tennis championships

Overview

The Icelandic Table Tennis Federation held a youth team competition at Laugaland on October 10. The event included various age categories, following a regulatory change that raised the maximum age for the oldest divisions from 18 to 19.

HK was the most successful club at the tournament, winning both the boys’ 13 and under and 15 and under categories, while also securing silver medals in both. In the boys’ 19 and under category, BH was crowned champion.

In the girls’ divisions, a joint team from Dímon, Garpur, and Vísir won the 13 and under category. KR secured the championship in the girls’ 19 and under category, a victory marking the fourth consecutive year for champions Guðbjörg Vala Gunnarsdóttir and Helena Árnadóttir.
