HKS launches suspension manufacturing and RC Generation brand in Thailand

Japanese automotive parts maker HKS will begin suspension development, manufacturing and sales in Thailand through its local subsidiary HKS (THAILAND) Co., Ltd. starting in August 2026. The subsidiary will handle the entire process—from product planning and engineering to production, quality control and distribution—leveraging technology from HKS headquarters.

The first product line, branded RC Generation, targets pickup‑based vehicles (PPV) and SUVs for the ASEAN market, offering performance and durability at a more affordable price than HKS’s premium HIPERMAX line. HKS aims to expand the brand across ASEAN countries and eventually into global markets, using Thailand as a regional hub.

Kentaro Amano, president of HKS (THAILAND), said the integrated local operation will shorten lead times and allow rapid response to regional customer feedback, strengthening HKS’s presence in the Asian automotive aftermarket.
