HMD leaks reveal new feature phone and Android-based flip device
Leaked specifications suggest HMD is preparing two new devices targeting the budget and feature phone markets: the HMD 102 4G Pro and the HMD 2760 Flip 4G.
The HMD 102 4G Pro is an upgraded feature phone designed for essential connectivity. It is expected to feature a 30-megapixel camera, dual-SIM support with 4G LTE, and increased internal specifications, including 24 MB of RAM and 48 MB of storage. The device will also include a larger 1,200 mAh battery compared to its predecessor.
The HMD 2760 Flip 4G appears to be a more advanced clamshell device positioned closer to a smartphone. Unlike previous models using KaiOS, this device is rumored to run Icon OS 13, based on Android 13 Go, which would grant access to the Google Play Store. Technical leaks indicate it will feature a 2.8-inch main display, a 1.77-inch outer display, a Unisoc T310 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. It is also expected to include a 5 MP camera, a 2,500 mAh battery, and USB-C connectivity.
