Ho Chi Minh City announces 2026 Vegetarian Food Festival

The Ho Chi Minh City Vegetarian Food Festival 2026 has been announced by the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association (FBA) and the Binh Phu Ward People's Committee. Under the theme ‘Choosing green cuisine for a green future,’ the event aims to connect vegetarian cuisine with green consumption, agriculture, tourism, and sustainable development.

Organizers noted that the festival's scale and engagement with businesses and chefs have nearly doubled compared to previous iterations. The event will feature traditional and modern vegetarian dishes, plant-based foods, and Vietnamese agricultural products. Alan Nguyen, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Chefs Association, stated the festival seeks to promote a lifestyle of ‘eating clean and living green’ while strengthening connections between food businesses and the community.
