Ho Chi Minh City authorities seek relatives of four abandoned children
The An Khanh Ward People's Committee in Ho Chi Minh City has issued a notice to locate the parents or relatives of four children abandoned in front of Dieu Giac Pagoda on Tran Nao Street.
The children, who were discovered by a nun on the evening of October 13, include two boys and two girls. The eldest is a boy approximately 3 years old, followed by a 2-year-old boy, a 15-month-old girl, and a 9-month-old girl. All four children are reported to be in normal health and are currently receiving care at the Dieu Giac Orphanage.
Authorities have requested that any biological parents or relatives contact the An Khanh Ward People's Committee to follow procedures for reclaiming the children. If no relatives come forward within seven days of the notice, the local government will proceed with birth registration and other necessary legal formalities in accordance with current regulations.
