Ho Chi Minh City clears legal hurdles for real‑estate projects and begins Belt 4 highway core construction

After years of effort, more than 400 real‑estate projects in Ho Chi Minh City have been fully resolved legally, allowing developers to resume construction and hand over units. The Ministry of Construction reports that over 1,000 projects nationwide have been cleared, unlocking roughly VND 800 trillion in investment. Notable developments include Victoria Village, The Grand Manhattan and Lancaster Legacy, with unit prices ranging from VND 100 million to VND 350 million per square metre.

The city’s Belt 4 highway project, a 48‑km, up‑to‑10‑lane expressway linking industrial zones such as VSIP 2A and Mỹ Phước 3, is set to start core construction on 2 September. All five component projects have received feasibility approvals, and land acquisition is 30‑50 % complete. Becamex Group and Deocaa Group won the PPP contract for the Bình Dương segment and are preparing design submissions. The new corridor will feature eight‑lane main carriageways, emergency lanes, and interchanges to improve regional traffic flow.
