Ho Chi Minh City collects 93 martyr remains at Le Thi Rieng Park

By 16:00 on 15 July 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command’s recovery team had retrieved 93 individual martyr remains, two collective remains and several relics from Le Thi Rieng Park in District 12. The effort, part of a nine‑day search and excavation operation, concluded the first phase of the city’s programme to locate and repatriate remains of fallen heroes.

The operation was overseen by city authorities and reported alongside other commemorative activities by Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng, who recently met provincial officials in Phú Thọ and Lạng Sơn to honour veterans.
