Ho Chi Minh City hosts Green Food Festival 2026

The Green Food Festival 2026 is being held in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on vegetarian cuisine and the development of a green food ecosystem. The event aims to connect producers, chefs, businesses, and consumers while promoting environmental protection and healthy living.

The festival features hundreds of booths offering traditional Vietnamese vegetarian dishes, such as plant-based versions of pho, banh mi, and banh xeo, alongside modern plant-based creations. Activities include cooking demonstrations, professional chef competitions, and the awarding of 30 Green Chef Scholarships to disadvantaged young people.

Social initiatives at the event include the ‘Connecting Love - Sowing Seeds of Happiness’ program, which provides essential goods to those in need, and a free vegetarian feast serving 500 meals. The festival concludes on August 30 with Green Environment Day, featuring waste recycling activities and gardening workshops.
