Ho Chi Minh City implements new land subdivision regulations

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has issued Decision No. 67/2026/QD-UBND, which establishes new regulations regarding the conditions for land subdivision and consolidation within the city.

Under the new decree, the minimum residential land area required for subdivision is categorized into five distinct zones based on specific wards and communes. These minimum areas range from 36 square meters to 100 square meters depending on the location.

In Zone 1, the minimum area is 36 square meters, with a minimum width and depth of 3 meters. Zone 2 requires a minimum of 50 square meters with a minimum width and depth of 4 meters. Zone 3 requires a minimum of 60 square meters, also with a minimum width and depth of 4 meters.
