Ho Chi Minh City land office accelerates administrative reforms

The Land Registration Office No. 2 in Ho Chi Minh City has issued a directive to improve land-related administrative procedures and increase support for citizens using online services. Under the leadership of Director Tran Dinh Quan, staff are instructed to proactively guide users through online filing, tax declaration forms, and payment processes.

The initiative aims to reduce processing times significantly. For complete and valid applications, the appointment for result delivery will be reduced by 8 hours compared to standard regulations. Additionally, once financial obligations are met and documents are submitted, the turnaround time will be cut to 2 hours, a 6-hour reduction from the standard requirement.

The office is implementing a “one-time guidance - multiple self-performances” approach to help citizens become more independent with digital tools, thereby saving time and travel costs. Officials are also strictly prohibited from repeatedly returning incomplete files or showing favoritism, with a mandate to maintain transparency and a service-oriented attitude to prevent public dissatisfaction.
